Levain @ Jalan Delima

In the quiet streets off Jalan Imbi, where colonial-style bungalows dot the landscape, you will find Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie, a warm and lovely French-style bakery and café where you can savour soft, warm and superbly fresh breads and pastries while enjoying a cup of coffee.

At Levain, breads and pastries are baked all day using natural yeast, in a traditional stone oven which imparts a unique flavour and texture to the breads and pastries. I've tried the pastries here before and will be trying their mains today.

Levain Bulangerie & Pastisserie

Cappucino, MYR6.90

Earl Grey, MYR6.90

Beff Aglio-Olio, MYR12.90

Mushroom Cream Pasta, MYR10.90

The food here is simple but yet delicious. You get what you paid for. They have only a handfull of choices for mains so the chef mastered these dishes quite well. There is one thing you have to do when you dine here. First, get a seat and remember the table number. Second, go queue up to place an order. Third, go back to your seat and wait for food to be served. Staff here are not too friendly especially those at the counter. I was there before lunch hour and they are already showing faces to us. If the management is reading this and would like to know who is the one with attitude, message me..LOL

  1. yikes, it's a shame that grouchy staff would be attending to customers at a place that's as cheerful and charming as this! hopefully the management does read this, ya =)
