High tea @ Raffles Hotel, Singapore

Raffles Hotel is a colonial-style hotel in Singapore, and one of the world's most famous hotels. The hotel was established by the famous Armenian Sarkies Brothers. Opened in 1887, it was named after Singapore's founder Sir Stamford Raffles. Managed by Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, it is known for its luxurious accommodation and superb restaurants. The hotel houses a tropical garden courtyard, museum and Victorian-style theatre. This is where I had my high tea after shopping around City Hall.

TWG tea
This is a Singapore premium tea brand. It deserves the fame given to it's name and my mum and I really liked the tea. There's TWG Tea Salon & Boutique in ION Orchard but there were too many people there, so we didn't try. If you would like to taste it in KL, there's always Starhill Tea Salon.

Chocolate Lodge Cake
Fluffy yet rich in taste. Coated with dark chocolate and melts in your mouth.

Mango something....
Sorry, I forgot the name again... This is the best among all. Moist, crunchy, sweet, sour, soft all in one. I can have this all day.

Raspberry Tartlet
A very pleasant pastry. Soft and sour raspberry compliments the buttery crust so well that you can't stop eating.

Scones
Comes with butter, cream and strawberry jam. Served hot and it tasted so good with butter..

Overall, it was an wonderful experience dining in Raffles Hotel. There are many other restaurants in Raffles that I would like to try but time is the main concern; maybe some other time.
