Elcerdo at Werner's Place is a restaurant specialises in pork. It offers Spanish cooking and pasta as well but their specialities are pork ribs and suckling pig; that's why they say nose to tail eating. They have quite a few varieties for all the categories mentioned above. I was so "lucky" last night that they had power failure. We had to dine outdoor with candles, truly a candle light dinner..LOL...but it only lasted for 15 minutes before they got everything fixed.

Bread - It's decent bread with pork liver spread, I have tasted better bread.

Jamon Serrano from Spain - Smoked pork slices served on Rock Melon and Salad. This is as refreshing as can be. The sweet cold melon eaten with the salty smoked pork slices. Perfect combination.

Greek salad - Nothing can possibly go wrong with salad. But I still think it's good before the heavy meal later.

Oven Roasterd Spanish Ribs Iberico Style - This is served with pineapple salsa and I don't know if it's me but it tasted a lil bit like "Bak Kut Teh"; undoubtedly good

Cochinillo Al Estilo Segoviano - Roasted half suckling pig. The meat is juicy and succulent but a little bit too greasy. It tasted fantastic with the sauce but having one piece will be good enough.

Mountain Paella - Paella style rice with pork bacon, chicken, pepper and fresh mushroom. The taste is alright but the rice is too wet for my liking.

Baskin Robbins cake - This is my brother's birthday cake. So I don't wanna comment on this. =)

We didn't have dessert because we have the cake. I would like to try their dessert, maybe some other day. The staff were very friendly and gave us free shots (2 times). When we had the suckling pig, we had to perform some ritual act before we make a wish and throw the plate onto a clay figure to break it which is kinda fun.

Ambiance = 8/10

Service     = 9/10
